Tanjung Rhu

Deemed one of Langkawi's best beaches,Tanjung Rhu is located 22 km away from Kuah. Fringed by tall Casuarina trees, it has boats for hire to cruise around the islands, as well as the Tanjung Rhu Riding Centre offering equestrian sports. Located on the northernmost tip of Langkawi island, this wide sloping beach is fringed by the Casuarina trees from which Pantai Tanjung Rhu gets its name. During low tide, it is possible to walk across a sandy stretch to the rocky outcrop of Pulau Chabang. Nearby are a number of caves as well as mangrove swamp

Tanjung Rhu merupakan salah satu pantai yang tercantik di Langkawi.Terletak kira-kira 22 km dari pekan Kuah.Pantai ini dikelilingi oleh pohon-pohon rhu.Pasir pantainya yang putih menambahkan lagi keindahannya.Ketika air surut, pengunjung boleh melintasi beting-beting pasir untuk pergi ke Pulau Chabang yang berbatu.Berhampiran dengannya, terdapat beberapa gua yang menarik dan paya-paya bakau.

Pantai Batu Hampar

Fronting the Sheraton Langkawi Beach Resort, this little stretch of beach is bounded by rocky outcrops on both ends. Coconut and mangrove trees preserve the beach's natural environment, providing welcome shade.

Terletak berhadapan dengan Sheraton Langkawi Beach Resort.Dilitupi oleh batu-batuan di kedua-dua penghujungnya.Pepohon kelapa dan bakau yang tumbuh disini menyerlahkan lagi keasliannya.

Pantai Teluk Burau

Once the haunt of the Piped Hornbill, the rugged coastline here is broken by lush tropical vegetation. On the west coast of Langkawi Island, this stretch of coastline features the Kuala Teriang fishing village, Telaga Tujuh Waterfalls and Padang Matsirat. Facing the beach is Burau Island, a roosting place for migratory birds.

Terletak di bahagian barat Pulau Langkawi.Disini terletaknya perkampungan nelayan~Kuala Teriang, Padang Matsirat dan Telaga Tujuh.Manakala di hadapannya pula terdapat Pulau Burau yang menjadi tempat persinggahan burung-burung yang berhijrah.

Pantai Kok

This stretch of beach 24.8 km away from Kuah boasts white sand and swaying palms, ideal for lazing about while you view the yachts and sailboats drifting gently against the azure backdrop of the Andaman Sea. Resorts are dotted along the shore, offering the most pleasant accommodation. This beach was the Summer Palace location of the movie "Anna and the King", a set that is now a popular attraction.

Berlatar belakangkan Laut Andaman, terdampar indah Pantai Kok yang terkenal dengan keputihan pasirnya dan pepohon kelapa yang melambai ditiup angin.Terdapat pusat peranginan yang menyediakan pelbagai kemudahan disepanjang pantai ini.

Pantai Datai

Characterised by boulders at both ends of the beach and dense forest in the background, Pantai Datai slopes gently into clear blue waters. Facing the beach directly is the delightful little island of Pulau Anak Datai.

Kejernihan air lautnya yang membiru dan keindahan pasir pantainya menjadikannya tarikan pelancong-pelancong dari dalam dan luar negeri.Latarbelakangnya dilitupi oleh hutan yang menghijau indah.

Pantai Pasir Tengkorak

This "Beach of Sandy Skulls" evokes images of pirates and adventurers and does indeed resemble a pirates' hideout with its stretch of beach flanked by boulders at both ends. Shaded by giant trees right up to the shoreline, it offers lovely seclusion amidst the lush green jungles of the PasirTengkorak Forest Reserve.

Pantainya tidak sepanjang mana, tetapi kerana keputihan pasirnya dan kjernihan air lautnya, membuatkannya begitu terkenal sehingga ia menjadi tempat perkelahan yang kerap dikunjungi.

Pantai Teluk Yu

Its name literally means "Bay of Sharks" but the waters are completely tranquil. Its wide, sandy beach is actually a continuation of Pantai Pasir Hitam but is free from the black pigmentation.On this beach also is theteluk Ewajetty which serves large ship.

Pantainya bersambung terus dengan Pantai Pasir Hitam, namun ianya tidak mengandungi tompokan pasir-pasir hitam sepertinya.

Pantai Teluk Baru

The small bay of this stretch of beach forms a natural shelter for fishing boats, and you may even persuade a fishing boat to let you accompany them on a trip.

Teluk kecil yang menjadi tempat persinggahan perahu-perahu nelayan di pulau ini.

Pantai Pasir Hitam

During the wet season, the sands here are more black than white, due to the tin and mineral ore deposits which wash up on the shore.An ancient fishing jetty lends it a sense of history, making a very picturesque scene that's popular among locals.conscious tourist.

Mendapat nama dari kehitaman pasirnya yang begitu terserlah terutamanya pada musim tengkujuh.

Pantai Cenang

About 18.4 km from Kuah, this beach is the liveliest stretch on the island, with restaurants and bars offering a range of local, Western and fusion cuisine to those who prefer a more lively pace of beach life. There are also many quaint resorts with chalets that cater to the more budget-conscious tourist.
